Kern-Liebers expands manufacturing operations in Romania

The car spring manufacturer Kern-Liebers plans to expand the production capacity of its factory in Popești-Leordeni, a process that will result in new hires.
In the Popești-Leordeni factory, only half of the production hall is used for spring production, the rest of the hall being unused, the 2008 equipment being decommissioned.

“In order to expand production capacity, it is necessary to put new equipment into operation and remodel the production flow. Also, arrangements are needed, in a separate phase from that of the hall expansion, respectively of spaces outside the building for storing raw materials in a tent and waste in a pen,” it is stated in the documents submitted to the authorities by Kern Liebers Romania.

The production unit operates on a land area of approximately 1.7 hectares, and after the expansion it will have an area of approximately 6,000 square meters.
