The Edition 1011 Featured by Versace Ceramics project attracts EUR 130 million investment

The first full branded residences project carried out in collaboration with Versace Ceramics in Romania attracts an investment valued at approximately EUR 130 million. The project is being carried out by Ten Eleven Development, a company founded and coordinated by millionaire Constantin Iacov, the former owner of the former football club FC National.

 

The Edition 1011 Featured by Versace Ceramics is in full construction, having started in February. Works are currently underway on the three underground levels. The project will bring together 419 Edition Residences, with the delivery of the entire project estimated on December 31, 2028.

The project occupies a 13,500 square meter plot between Şoseaua Fabrica de Glucoza and Bulevardul Dimitrie Pompeiu, with access to both arteries.

Alesonor and STRABAG begin construction of 172 green homes in Amber Forest in Tunari  

Alesonor and STRABAG have started construction of the second phase of the Amber Forest project in northern Bucharest, which will have 172 homes, of which 91 are villas and 81 are apartments. The residential complex is developed on an area of ​​31 hectares, with only 15% built-up area.

 

The project has obtained LEED Platinum certification according to the v4.1 standard for communities: Planning and Design, becoming the first residential project in Europe to achieve this standard.

 

To date, the project includes 690 green homes, of which 580 have been sold and approximately 300 have already been delivered.

 

“The partnership with STRABAG is essential for this stage, as it allows us to maintain the technical standards of the project and ensure that the assumed objectives, including those related to the LEED Platinum certification, are supported by a rigorous execution, at the level of reference projects in the market”, says Leonidas Anastasopoulos, Co-founder and Managing Partner, Alesonor.

One United Properties takes over EUR 100 million project in Iași

One United Properties has signed a memorandum for the acquisition of the land of the former IAȘITEX factory in Iași. This is the third city in which the developer is expanding regionally, after Sibiu and Constanța.

 

“Evergent Investments participates with the land having an approved Zonal Urbanistic Plan (PUZ), while One United Properties will ensure the development and marketing of the real estate project,” the Evergent announcement states.

 

The land has an area of ​​25,000 square meters and is located on Bulevardul Primăverii no. 2. On this land, Evergent planned to build a mixed real estate project, with 850 apartments, an investment of EUR 100 million. In 2024, the project was postponed.

FDP Increased its Turnover by 20% in 2025

Fabrica de Profile (FDP), one of the most important Romanian manufacturers of decorative profiles, architectural details, and design solutions for both interior and exterior use, recorded a turnover of over EUR 4.6 million in 2025, marking an increase of more than 20% compared to 2024.

 

In 2025, FDP went through a significant stage in its strategic development by relocating to a new production facility in Balotești. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, automation systems, and the company expanded its production capacity through an investment of over EUR 2.5 million. At the same time, the company is diversifying its product portfolio by introducing new innovative architectural elements, such as fluid walls and decorative thermal insulation systems, designed to redefine both aesthetic and functional standards in the architectural profiles and detailing industry.

 

“The biggest contribution to our growth last year came from the higher volume of international projects, as well as collaborations with more players in the real estate market. We provided customized architectural details in countries such as Cyprus, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, and France, and supported local real estate developers with facade details, decorative thermal systems, interior skirting boards, and joining elements for their projects,” stated Dan Panciu, founder of FDP.

McDonald’s Opens New Restaurant in Cluj County

The volume of construction works increased in the first two months of 2026 by 7.3% compared to the same period in 2025, an evolution supported by the advance of capital repair works (+10.1%), new constructions (+7%) and maintenance and current repair works (+6.1%), according to data from the National Institute of Statistics.

By construction objects, increases were recorded in residential buildings (+12.9%) and engineering constructions (+9.7%). Non-residential buildings decreased by 1.2%.

 

In February, the volume of construction works increased by 15.8% compared to the same period in 2025. By structural elements, increases were recorded in capital repair works (+25.6%), new construction works (+16.5%) and maintenance and current repair works (+6.7%).

By construction objects, increases were recorded in residential buildings (+27.0%) and engineering constructions (+21.2%). Non-residential buildings decreased by 0.5%.

Marius Bușu Resumes the Towers Project near Văcărești Natural Park

Businessman Marius Bușu has resumed the procedures for the two towers with premium apartments planned near Văcărești Natural Park, after breaking his partnership with Robertino Georgescu.

 

Marius Bușu bought a plot of land measuring approximately 11,000 square meters on the banks of the Văcărești Delta, between the Sun Plaza mall and the Asmita Gardens residential complex. The transaction value was approximately EUR 8 million. On this land, since 2021, the investor has proposed to build two residential towers, each with 11 floors and an estimated development value of up to EUR 70 million.

 

Bușu partnered with his former schoolmate Robertino Georgescu and included this project in their joint expansion plan, but construction has not started.

In 2024, Bușu and Georgescu decided to break off their business relationship, and their projects were divided. Marius Bușu remained to develop the luxury complex Nobis Gardens in Pipera on the banks of the Văcărești Delta.

 

The new plan foresees the construction of two buildings structured on two basements, a ground floor and 11 floors, with a total area of ​​38,447 square meters. 402 parking spaces are planned in the basement of the towers, 280 square meters of commercial spaces on the ground floor, and the floors are reserved for apartments, which reach a number of over 400 units.

Engie Moves its Headquarters in Matei Millo project

Engie, the largest natural gas distribution operator in Romania, is moving its service center from the U-Center office complex to the space previously occupied by the Estée Lauder technology center, which closed at the end of last year. The new Engie headquarters is double the size of the current one and suitable for over 400 employees.

 

The American giant occupied 5,300 square meters, i.e. 5 floors or the equivalent of approximately half of the Matei Millo office building, developed by Forte Partners and now owned by businessman Omar Akili.

 

Now, the same 5,300 square meter space has been leased by Engie, which is moving its service center here from the U-Center complex, owned by Forte Partners. This is the largest office lease transaction, signed in the first quarter of 2026, and was brokered by the real estate consulting company CBRE.

Concelex consolidates the Dacia-Romania Palace in the Capital

The local construction company Concelex, controlled by Daniel Piţurlea, won a RON 88 million contract for the consolidation, rehabilitation and modernization works of the Dacia-Romania Palace (Pinacoteca Palace) in Bucharest.

 

The building, located in the Lipscani area of ​​the Old Center of the Capital and included in the List of Historical Monuments, is classified as a building at seismic risk and is managed by the Municipal Administration for the Consolidation of Buildings at Seismic Risk (AMCCRS).

 

The works include the consolidation of foundations, walls and floors, the restoration of facades and decorative elements, as well as the modernization of installations. Interventions are also planned to reduce energy consumption and the implementation of modern security and fire protection systems without affecting the historical architectural elements.

 

The estimated duration of the works is 36 months, and upon completion, the building is to be reintegrated into the cultural circuit.

Express Euroscan Group invests EUR 3.5 million in an Office Building

Express Euroscan from Suceava, which bought the transporter Denis Spedition, is investing EUR 3.5 million in an office building, which will include both office and residential areas.

 

“The building is intended for large companies that want another level of development. Elbi, LKQ Elit, Fryday are among the tenants,” said Ovidiu Plăcintă, founder of the Express Euroscan company from Suceava.

 

Entrepreneur Ovidiu Plăcintă, who has bet on different industries, not just transport, also owns shares in Express Estates, Euroscan Logistics Park and other companies. The Express Euroscan Group recorded an increase in turnover in 2025 compared to the previous year, exceeding the threshold of EUR 35 million. The development comes in the context of the expansion of the activity and the integration of Denis Spedition, a company specialized in temperature-controlled transport.
