Ravensburger chooses Wrocław office complex for international services hub

2 November 2026

German games and toy manufacturer Ravensburger Group has selected the Dominikański office complex in central Wrocław, Poland, to establish a new Global Business Services (GBS) hub. The operation will support the company’s headquarters in Germany and its international activities across Europe and the Americas, with a focus on business administration, customer services and digital transformation.

The office complex is owned by Union Investment, while Knight Frank serves as its exclusive leasing agent. CBRE represented Ravensburger in the leasing transaction. The companies have not disclosed the amount of office space leased, the financial terms of the agreement or the number of employees expected to work at the new location.

Ravensburger plans to expand the Wrocław operation progressively over the coming years. Its responsibilities will include supporting European customers and developing technology-based solutions to improve customer services. Artificial intelligence specialists will contribute to these activities, working alongside teams at the company’s headquarters in Ravensburg and other international offices.

The decision reflects Wrocław’s established position in Poland’s business services sector. According to figures provided in the announcement, the city hosts more than 200 business services centres employing approximately 60,000 people. These operations cover shared services, business process outsourcing and global corporate support functions, creating an established recruitment market for international companies.

Ravensburger identified access to multilingual professionals, transport infrastructure and the local technology sector as important considerations in selecting Wrocław. The company also cited its previous cooperation with local technology start-ups as a factor influencing the decision to establish a permanent business services operation in the city.

For Wrocław’s commercial property market, the transaction illustrates continued demand for centrally located offices from international companies consolidating corporate functions. Business services operators increasingly assess office locations according to their accessibility, proximity to public transport and ability to attract skilled employees, alongside occupancy costs and building specifications.

Dominikański occupies a central location in Wrocław and includes the renovated historic Oppersdorf Palace, where Knight Frank maintains its local office. Union Investment holds the property as part of its real estate portfolio, with Knight Frank responsible for securing office occupiers. The addition of Ravensburger expands the complex’s international tenant base.

The transaction also highlights the relationship between Poland’s business services industry and demand for modern office accommodation. While the scale of Ravensburger’s initial occupation has not been disclosed, its plans for gradual expansion could support future office requirements as the Wrocław operation develops. For landlords and investors, the agreement provides another example of international corporate demand for established office locations in Poland’s regional business centres.
