nter Cars, a distributor of automotive spare parts in Central and Eastern Europe, has leased space at MLP Business Park Vienna, where it will establish its first location in the Austrian capital.
Under the lease agreement, the company will occupy 2,220 sqm, comprising 1,770 sqm of warehouse space and 450 sqm for offices, retail and employee facilities. Operations are scheduled to begin in November following the handover of the completed premises. The warehouse will also include a three-level walkable racking system.
Inter Cars operates in 26 European countries and maintains a physical sales network across 21 markets. The new Vienna facility is intended to support the company’s distribution and customer service activities in Austria.
Peter Falb, Chief Country Officer Austria at MLP Group, said the agreement reflects continued demand for logistics space from companies seeking well-connected locations with flexible warehouse and office configurations.
Radosław Grześkowiak, CEO Austria at Inter Cars, said the Vienna branch represents an important step in the company’s expansion in Central Europe, adding that the location and infrastructure of MLP Business Park Vienna support its operational requirements and regional customer service.
MLP Business Park Vienna consists of four buildings with a planned total leasable area of 54,500 sqm. The development offers units from 1,000 sqm designed for urban logistics, e-commerce, light manufacturing and automotive-related businesses.
The project incorporates sustainability features including green roofs, photovoltaic installations and a planned recreational area with a pond. It is being developed to meet the ÖGNI Gold certification standard.
Located on a 9.8-hectare site around 13 km from Vienna city centre, the business park has access to the S2/A23 motorway and is approximately 23 km from Vienna International Airport. Public transport connections are available via nearby bus and railway stops.
