Auto Partner Expands German Distribution Network with 24,300 sqm Facility

17 September 2026

Auto Partner is preparing a major expansion of its logistics operations in Germany after its German subsidiary agreed to lease approximately 24,300 sqm of warehouse space. The facility is intended to strengthen the Polish automotive parts distributor’s position in Germany while providing additional capacity for growth across Western Europe.

Auto Partner Deutschland GmbH signed the long-term lease with Projektgesellschaft Rheinstrasse MbH. The new distribution centre is expected to begin operations by the end of the first quarter of 2028, subject to the required administrative approvals being obtained.

The planned facility represents a substantial increase in the group’s German logistics capacity. Auto Partner has been developing its presence outside Poland as it expands sales across European markets, and the larger warehouse will allow more inventory and distribution activity to be positioned closer to customers in Western Europe.

Germany has particular strategic importance for the company because of the size of its automotive aftermarket and its position within the European distribution network. Locating additional warehouse capacity there should allow Auto Partner to shorten supply routes for German customers while providing a platform from which neighbouring markets can also be served.

The expansion builds on Auto Partner’s established logistics network in Poland, which includes large distribution facilities as well as regional branches. The German operation gives the group another significant logistics base outside its domestic market and reduces its dependence on supplying Western European customers from Polish warehouses.

The lease is also notable from a commercial real estate perspective because of its scale. At more than 24,000 sqm, the transaction represents a sizeable logistics commitment by a Polish company expanding directly into Western Europe rather than increasing capacity solely within Central and Eastern Europe.

Germany’s warehouse market has meanwhile recorded stronger activity during 2026. BNP Paribas Real Estate reported more than 3.3 million sqm of logistics and industrial take-up during the first half of the year, around 23% higher than a year earlier. Larger transactions also became more prominent, while markets outside the country’s biggest logistics centres contributed significantly to overall demand.

Auto Partner has not disclosed the financial terms of the lease or the total cost associated with establishing the new operation. The company has, however, connected the additional capacity directly with its plans to develop business in Germany and other Western European markets.

For the group, the project represents more than an increase in warehouse space. Establishing a substantially larger distribution operation within Germany provides Auto Partner with physical infrastructure for its international growth strategy and illustrates how Polish companies are increasingly using Western European logistics networks to support expansion beyond their domestic and regional markets.
