Real estate developer Rock Development is investing EUR 32 million in the development of the second phase of Avrig Park Residence, located in the Bucur Obor area of Bucharest.
The second phase of the project, for which SVN Romania is the real estate consultant and exclusive agent, is already under construction and has reached approximately 25% completion. This development phase will comprise 222 apartments and is scheduled for completion in December 2027. Of these, 117 have already been pre-sold, representing 53% of the available units. The project’s first phase, comprising 134 residential units, has already been completed and sold.
“Semi-central and central areas of Bucharest should account for at least twice their current share of total housing deliveries in the city and its surrounding areas, equivalent to more than 1,500 new apartments each year, compared with approximately 700 units at present. However, the challenging urbanistic planning regime means that the number of projects in semi-central locations is extremely limited, further exacerbating the city’s infrastructure problems.
