Hagi Sport SRL, the company controlled by Gheorghe Hagi, has obtained the demolition permit for buildings C1, C2, and C3 within the Iaki Hotel complex in Mamaia. The document represents a new stage of the hotel asset’s modernization project, a rehabilitation and repartitioning process started several years ago.
The modernization plan began in 2022 with permits for the renovation and repartitioning of Building C1, followed by new steps in 2023 and November 2024. Previously, in 2025, the hotel completed a renovation phase estimated at around EUR 2 million, works that temporarily limited the unit’s operating capacity to 30% in the first four months of last year.
For the year 2025, the company Hagi Sport SRL reported a turnover of EUR 4.59 million, debts of EUR 2.2 million, and losses of EUR 55 000, operating with an average of 128 employees.
