Hospitality group Accor is expanding its presence in the Romanian market by introducing the Novotel brand to Galați, where the group already owns two properties affiliated with the Mercure and ibis Styles brands.
The new hotel will feature 105 rooms, three conference halls, and two restaurants, one of which will be a rooftop venue. Currently, Accor counts 24 operational hotels in Romania, a market considered one of the most active in the region. The group’s development strategy aims to continue expanding across all key segments: premium (via Swissôtel and Mövenpick), midscale (via Mercure), as well as lifestyle and economy (via the ibis Styles and Handwritten Collection brands).
