The American company Eaton has begun construction of its third factory in Romania. It is a unit where electronic components for the energy sector will be produced and is being built in the commune of Fărcașa, Maramureș County. The construction is coordinated by Optim Project Management.
The construction works will last eight months, and the investment is EUR 6 million. Upon completion, the factory will have 2,601 square meters of production space, 1,008 square meters of storage space and 1,035 square meters of technical and support space.
The factory will operate with heat pumps and will have photovoltaic panels, designed to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact.
