DHL Supply Chain takes 25,300 sqm at EQT logistics park in Gliwice

DHL Supply Chain has agreed to lease a 25,300 sqm logistics facility being developed at EQT Real Estate Park Gliwice I in Upper Silesia. The building is being constructed specifically for the logistics operator and is scheduled for handover towards the end of 2026.

The new facility will form Hall B of the Gliwice development and is being configured around DHL Supply Chain’s operational requirements. Technical specifications include a clear internal height of 12 metres, heat pumps and photovoltaic panels, combining customised logistics infrastructure with measures intended to improve the building’s energy performance.

Construction is already at an advanced stage. The project is being developed through EQT Exeter Logistics Value Fund IV. Hall A at the park has previously been leased to another logistics-sector occupier, while the next planned phase is Hall C, which is expected to provide approximately 63,000 sqm in a single building.

Once all phases are completed, EQT Real Estate Park Gliwice I is planned to comprise more than 120,000 sqm of logistics and production space. The development has direct access to the A4 motorway and is close to the A1, positioning it within one of Poland’s largest industrial and distribution regions and providing road connections to domestic and international markets.

For DHL Supply Chain, the agreement provides a facility designed around a specific logistics operation rather than requiring the company to adapt an existing speculative warehouse. The intended customer operation at the property, lease duration and financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.

The DHL facility represents another step in EQT’s phased expansion of the Gliwice park, sitting between the already commercialised Hall A and the substantially larger Hall C planned for the next stage. The development also adds to modern logistics stock in Upper Silesia, where motorway infrastructure, a substantial manufacturing base and access to Central European markets continue to support demand for large-scale warehouse facilities.
