Silverton Group has agreed a long-term lease renewal with French sporting goods retailer Decathlon at a retail park in Regensburg, Germany. The agreement concerns approximately 3,300 sqm of retail accommodation at Langobardenstraße 2, where Decathlon operates as one of the property’s principal tenants.
Silverton manages the property on behalf of an investment fund that owns the retail complex. The agreement was concluded ahead of the existing lease’s expiry, allowing the landlord to retain a major occupier while maintaining rental income visibility over an extended period. The financial terms and revised lease duration have not been disclosed.
The retail park is situated in southern Regensburg and was completed in 2002. Occupying a site of approximately 23,200 sqm, the complex provides around 16,100 sqm of lettable accommodation across several retail and leisure units.
Alongside Decathlon, the tenant mix includes furniture retailer Seats and Sofas, pet supplies chain Fressnapf and ReBest fitness club. The combination of sporting goods, home furnishings, pet products and fitness facilities provides a range of shopping and leisure uses within the development.
The renewal maintains Decathlon’s presence at the established retail destination and reduces the immediate leasing risk associated with one of its larger units. For Silverton, the agreement supports the continued management of the property as an income-generating retail investment in the Regensburg market.
