The Austrians from Strabag have signed an agreement for the full acquisition of Daroconstruct, a construction company based in Iaşi controlled by Giani Canschi with 99.5% of the shares and Nicoleta Fedoreac.
Last year, Daroconstruct, specialized in the field of building construction, road infrastructure, bridges and utility networks, recorded a turnover of RON 324 million and a profit of RON 77 million, with 355 employees.
“We consider this planned acquisition as an investment in local expertise, in additional execution capacity and in the continuous development of our business in Romania,” said Herbert Schuster, administrator of Strabag Romania.
