Swedish furniture and interior design retailer IKEA is expanding its presence in Bucharest and will open a Plan & Order Point, dedicated to planning interior design projects, and a Pick & Point, intended for order pickup, in the Grand Arena shopping center.
The transaction was brokered by real estate consulting company Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.
The new Plan & Order Point, with an area of 405 square meters, is the second such IKEA concept in Bucharest and offers consulting services for home design, as well as the possibility of configuring and ordering furniture.
The Pick & Point has an area of 283 square meters and will function as an order pickup point for products ordered online or by phone.
