BNP Paribas Real Estate has reorganised the senior management of its European Advisory operations, appointing Marcus Zorn to lead the business across the region as the company prepares for the retirement of long-serving executive Laurent Boucher. Zorn took over as CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate Advisory on 15 September 2026 and will continue simultaneously as CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate Germany while retaining his position on the company’s Executive Board.
The appointment gives Zorn responsibility for coordinating Advisory activities across BNP Paribas Real Estate’s European markets, including closer cooperation between national teams and the delivery of services to clients operating across several countries. He has spent more than 30 years with BNP Paribas Real Estate Germany, having joined the business in 1995, and has worked across office property, investment transactions, industrial real estate and retail, as well as holding senior positions covering major German cities including Hamburg and Düsseldorf.
Zorn became Head of Transactions in Germany in 2010 and was appointed Deputy CEO of the German operation two years later. He joined the company’s International Executive Committee in 2016 before becoming CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate Germany in 2021. His expanded position now combines leadership of one of Europe’s largest property markets with responsibility for the company’s wider European Advisory platform.
The management changes also establish the succession arrangements for the company’s French Advisory operation. Laurent Boucher will retire at the end of December 2026 following a career of almost four decades with BNP Paribas Real Estate. He will continue as CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate Advisory France and remain a member of the Executive Board until 31 December, providing a transition period before the French leadership changes at the beginning of next year.
Brice de Germay will become CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate Advisory France from 1 January 2027. He has served as Deputy CEO of the French business since the beginning of 2026. De Germay joined BNP Paribas Real Estate in 2004 and has worked across residential portfolio sales, commercial property transactions and investment advisory. He moved to the Greater Paris office investment team in 2011 and later became Head of Capital Markets.
The appointments create a new leadership structure in which Zorn oversees the wider European Advisory platform while continuing to manage the German business, and de Germay assumes responsibility for France, the company’s largest Advisory market. The restructuring comes as property advisers increasingly coordinate services across borders for investors and occupiers whose portfolios extend across multiple European markets.
For Zorn, the expanded position places an executive with extensive experience in Germany’s investment and occupier markets at the head of the company’s European Advisory activities. The transition in France, meanwhile, maintains continuity through the promotion of an executive already involved in managing the country’s Advisory business.
The changes mark the end of Boucher’s long tenure at BNP Paribas Real Estate while establishing the management structure that will lead the company’s European and French Advisory operations from 2027.
