AAG expands Rotherham distribution hub to more than 710,000 sq ft

7 October 2026

Alliance Automotive Group has agreed to lease the remaining 80,870 sq ft at Panattoni Park Rotherham, increasing its occupation of the South Yorkshire logistics development to 710,870 sq ft. The automotive parts distributor already occupies the neighbouring 630,000 sq ft facility and will now control the entire park.

The additional building will provide further capacity as AAG expands and consolidates its UK distribution operations. The company originally committed to the larger Rotherham facility in 2022 under a 25-year pre-lease, with the property subsequently becoming a major distribution centre for its UK business.

The latest agreement covers Rotherham 80, comprising 75,394 sq ft of warehouse accommodation and 5,476 sq ft of offices. The building has a clear internal height of 12.5 metres, a 48-metre yard, four dock-level and four level-access doors and 750 kVA of available power. It has achieved BREEAM Very Good and an EPC A rating.

Panattoni Park Rotherham is located next to Junction 1 of the M18 and close to the M1/M18 interchange, providing access to the wider motorway network. The location supports AAG’s strategy of concentrating distribution capacity at Rotherham rather than operating additional facilities across separate locations.

AAG distributes passenger and commercial vehicle components to the independent automotive aftermarket and is owned by US-based Genuine Parts Company. The Rotherham operation forms part of a wider European distribution network serving the automotive parts sector.

By taking the remaining unit, AAG increases its capacity at a location where it has already made a substantial long-term commitment, while Panattoni completes the leasing of the 710,870 sq ft development. The expansion also gives AAG additional room to accommodate future growth while further consolidating its distribution activities at the South Yorkshire site.
