CEVA Logistics Restructures Global Operations Following Major Acquisitions

30 October 2026

CEVA Logistics has announced changes to its international management structure as the company moves to consolidate operations following a series of acquisitions. The restructuring, announced on 30 October 2026, will divide its global activities into two principal business divisions while transferring greater operational responsibility to regional management teams. The changes are being introduced under CEO Patrick Moebel, who assumed the position in July.

The new structure separates the company’s activities into freight management and contract logistics. Henri Le Gouis will oversee the freight division, while Chris Walton will be responsible for contract logistics. The arrangement is intended to clarify management responsibilities across a business that has expanded considerably through acquisitions and operates in numerous international markets.

Regional management will also assume a greater role in operational decisions. Paul Bernard has been appointed to oversee Northern and Central Europe, while Eric Dessupoiu will manage Southern Europe, including France. Scott Temple will lead operations across the Americas, Olivier Boccara will oversee Asia-Pacific, and Paras Rawal will be responsible for India, the Middle East and Africa. The company expects the revised structure to give regional teams greater authority over decisions affecting their respective markets.

The reorganisation follows a period of expansion since CEVA became part of the CMA CGM Group in 2019. Acquisitions have included GEFCO, Bolloré Logistics and the contract logistics activities of Ingram Micro. More recently, the company added FedEx Supply Chain to its operations. Integrating these businesses has increased the scale and geographical reach of the group while bringing together different management systems, customer relationships and operational networks.

Completing the integration of acquired businesses, particularly FedEx Supply Chain, will remain a priority. The company has not disclosed whether the revised management structure will involve changes to employment levels, the consolidation of individual facilities or adjustments to its existing warehouse network. No financial targets or expected restructuring costs were included in the announcement.

The changes are relevant to Europe’s industrial and logistics property sector because contract logistics operators are significant occupiers of distribution centres, warehouses and specialist storage facilities. Decisions concerning operational management, customer contracts and the integration of acquired businesses can influence how logistics companies use their property networks. However, CEVA has not announced any specific European leasing transactions, warehouse closures or new property investments in connection with the restructuring.

In Poland and other Central European markets, the appointment of a regional manager responsible for Northern and Central Europe establishes a clearer geographical management structure within the group. The extent to which this will affect local operations remains uncertain. The announcement does not identify changes to Polish distribution facilities, investment plans or existing relationships with warehouse landlords and developers.

The scale of the business provides context for the restructuring. Headquartered in Marseille, CEVA operates in more than 170 countries, employing approximately 110,000 people across around 1,700 locations. The company reported revenue of USD 18.3 billion in 2025 and provides services covering freight transport, contract logistics and vehicle distribution. Its international network includes operations serving manufacturers, retailers and other businesses dependent on warehousing and distribution infrastructure.

For European logistics property owners and developers, the main consideration will be whether the integration of acquired businesses eventually leads to changes in facility requirements or the geographical distribution of operations. The current announcement concerns management responsibilities rather than a confirmed property strategy. Any implications for warehouse demand, occupancy or future development activity will depend on subsequent operational decisions that have not yet been disclosed.
