Logistics park developer VGP has purchased 4.4 hectares of land in the industrial area of Ghimbav, Brașov, from real estate broker Lurențiu Badea and plans to increase the area to over 10 hectares to expand its logistics park that it is building in the same area. The transaction was completed at a price of approximately EUR 2.2 million.
The developer’s plan is to expand the land area to over 10 hectares, which implies a total investment of over EUR 5 million.
Laurențiu Badea is one of the partners of the real estate consultancy Dunwell, specialized in the industrial-logistics sector. Dunwell also facilitated VGP’s entry into the Brașov market in 2018, through the acquisition of a 23-hectare plot of land located behind Hornbach Brașov. In the meantime, VGP has accumulated 36.1 hectares of land for the VGP Park Brașov project and built warehouses with a leasable area of over 184,000 square meters.
