The Evergent Investments fund (formerly SIF Moldova) is preparing the first stage of a mega-residential project in partnership with businessman Horia Ciorcilă, entrepreneur Vasile Armenean, and Remus Aurel Bența, owner of Daw Bența.
The plan is to start the project this year. Evergent bought from Vasile Armenean and Remus Bența half of the project company through which the two entrepreneurs planned to develop the North Lake residential project, on Străulești entrance, no. 37A, with a number of 426 apartments and an investment estimated at about 30 million euros. Following the transaction, the two businessmen were left with a quarter of the company each.
The initial project will be integrated into a larger complex that will be built phased, with Evergent as developer. The North Lake permitting process is nearing completion and investors hope to begin construction this year.
The plan for North Lake proposes four 9-story buildings, each with 3 basements, with 613 parking spaces. The complex will have about 1,000 apartments and an estimated development value of about EUR 70 million.
