The fast-food restaurant chain Popeyes will open its first unit in Constanta this month, this being the sixth city in Romania where Popeyes is expanding its presence, outside the Capital, after Pitești, Craiova, Buzău, Ploiești and Brașov. The opening will take place in the food-court area of the City Park Mall Constanta shopping center.
Popeyes has 4,700 restaurants worldwide and 12 in Romania. Popeyes entered Romania in 2022 in Bucharest, where it opened six restaurants in turn.
“The opening of the sixth Popeyes restaurant outside Bucharest is part of a broad development plan for 2024 in Romania, so we are focusing all our efforts on our new restaurant in Constanta. We are convinced that the residents here will appreciate the unique flavors of Louisiana chicken, as has already happened in Bucharest, Pitești, Craiova, Buzău, Ploiești and Brașov,” said Jakub Aleksandrowicz, Marketing Director Popeyes Central and Eastern Europe.
