Verita International School, an accredited private school following the British education system and integrating academic, social and emotional learning, officially inaugurates Verita Amber Campus, Romania’s first school campus purpose-built to nZEB.
Verita Amber Campus was designed and purpose-built by Alesonor for Verita International School within Amber Forest, following an investment value of nearly EUR 10 million in the first phase. As Amber Forest is the first residential project in Europe certified Platinum under LEED v4.1 for Communities, Verita Amber Campus builds on the same sustainability principles, combining highly energy-efficient buildings with generous green areas and modern educational and sports facilities.
The Verita Amber Campus is being developed in two phases across a site of approx. 15,000 sqm and hosts a school, a kindergarten and an afterschool, as well as sports facilities. 80% of the campus is dedicated to green areas, outdoor learning, sports, movement and social interaction, supporting an active and healthy school experience. Only approximately 20% of the 15,000 sqm site is allocated to educational buildings.
In August 2026, the first building of the campus welcomed its first students from Early Years. The first phase building has been designed to accommodate up to 450 students and the school’s progressive expansion as new year groups are added.
In the second development phase, Verita plans to add a dedicated Secondary School building (of approx. 5,000 sqm), bringing the Amber Campus to a total capacity of approximately 1,000 students. Upon completion, the total value investment in Verita Amber Campus, including both phases, will reach approx. Eur 20 million.
