Romstal is expanding its logistics operations in the Bucharest area after agreeing to lease 24,400 sqm at CTPark Bucharest South from CTP. The new facility will provide additional distribution capacity for the Romanian building-installation products supplier as it serves customers in Romania and other Central and Eastern European markets.
The leased area forms part of a 54,000 sqm warehouse completed at CTPark Bucharest South in February 2026. The delivery increased the park’s completed space to approximately 140,000 sqm, with Romstal now occupying around 45% of the recently added building.
Romstal will use the property for the storage and distribution of products covering heating, water systems, sanitary equipment, electrical products and ceramics. The additional space will support the company’s supply network serving the construction and installation industries.
CTPark Bucharest South is located in Popești-Leordeni, south of the Romanian capital, between Bucharest’s established ring road and the A0 motorway. The park has two entrances from the DN4 and an A0 connection less than 500 metres away, providing access to the capital as well as the country’s main road network.
The location also provides connections towards the A2 motorway and Constanța, strengthening its position for companies distributing goods between Bucharest, the Black Sea region and other parts of Romania. Road connections towards Bulgaria and Southeast Europe add a cross-border dimension for occupiers operating regional distribution networks.
The Romstal transaction comes as CTP continues to expand its Romanian industrial and logistics business. The company currently reports more than 3.2 million sqm of space across the country, including properties in Bucharest, Timișoara, Brașov, Sibiu, Craiova and Arad. Romania therefore represents more than one-fifth of CTP’s 14.8 million sqm European portfolio.
CTP says it has signed more than 100,000 sqm of leases in Romania since April 2026. Across its European operations, the company agreed almost 1.6 million sqm of leases during the first half of the year. The latest Bucharest agreement adds a major domestic distributor to that leasing activity and increases utilisation of one of CTP’s newest logistics buildings serving the capital.
