Garden equipment supplier Krysiak has expanded its operations at MLP Poznań West, adding 3,813 sqm of warehouse space and approximately doubling its footprint at the logistics park. The transaction extends a relationship between the company and MLP Group that began around six years ago.
Krysiak first moved into the Poznań facility in early 2020. The latest expansion reflects increased space requirements as the company’s operations have grown, while allowing the business to remain within its existing logistics location rather than relocating to another facility.
The additional warehouse area is located next to Krysiak’s existing premises, enabling the company to combine the expanded operation more efficiently. During the period before the permanent space became available, additional capacity was arranged under a short-term lease to accommodate periods of higher demand. Rock Estate advised Krysiak on the lease negotiations and expansion.
Founded in 1990, Krysiak supplies garden machinery and equipment to professional and private customers. Its portfolio includes its own Faworyt, Lider, Handy and 4garden brands alongside products from other European manufacturers.
MLP Poznań West is located west of Poznań close to the S11 expressway and approximately 7 km from the A2 motorway. MLP Group plans to develop more than 173,000 sqm of warehouse and production space at the site, targeting logistics, distribution, e-commerce and light manufacturing occupiers.
The park incorporates photovoltaic installations, electric-vehicle charging facilities and cycling infrastructure as part of its environmental strategy. Its buildings are also being developed for BREEAM certification. Krysiak’s decision to double its space at the same location adds to leasing activity at the park and demonstrates how adjacent capacity can allow established occupiers to expand without the disruption and additional costs associated with moving to another logistics facility.
