The local construction company Concelex, controlled by Daniel Piţurlea, won a RON 88 million contract for the consolidation, rehabilitation and modernization works of the Dacia-Romania Palace (Pinacoteca Palace) in Bucharest.
The building, located in the Lipscani area of the Old Center of the Capital and included in the List of Historical Monuments, is classified as a building at seismic risk and is managed by the Municipal Administration for the Consolidation of Buildings at Seismic Risk (AMCCRS).
The works include the consolidation of foundations, walls and floors, the restoration of facades and decorative elements, as well as the modernization of installations. Interventions are also planned to reduce energy consumption and the implementation of modern security and fire protection systems without affecting the historical architectural elements.
The estimated duration of the works is 36 months, and upon completion, the building is to be reintegrated into the cultural circuit.
