The American Kaplan family, which links its expansion to the chemical industry in the 1950s, is reactivating real estate projects in Romania and is initiating the construction of a first logistics building near the eMAG warehouse on the A1 highway.
Kaplan Group began investing in the Romanian market in 2006 through the Carpathian Real Estate Investment Fund (CREF), which has the local representative company Terra Kapital.
The American investors own a plot of land with an area of 15.2 hectares at kilometer 22 on the A1 highway, in the town of Ciorogârla, on which they want to develop, in stages, an industrial/logistics park. The first stage aims to build a warehouse for rent with an area of approximately 21,000 square meters. The land remaining free after the construction of this hall will be approximately 78,000 square meters and will be intended for subsequent construction phases.
