The Radisson Blu Hotel in Cluj-Napoca, operated by Winners Park Invest and inaugurated in the summer of 2022, will open a new wing of the complex in November. The expansion, started last year. The new wing will add 20 premium rooms and suites, along with new conference rooms, a spa, a skybar, two restaurants and a garden.
The investment comes to complete the offer of a hotel which, before the reconversion, was the Sport Hotel, a two-star unit, later declassified. The decision to radically transform the former building into a five-star unit, instead of a three-star one, was based on the potential of the location, located in the vicinity of the main event points in Cluj-Napoca, such as the Multipurpose Hall and the stadium. The conversion process involved major challenges, requiring a complete reconfiguration of the interiors, initially very small, to meet the strict standards of the five-star classification.
