CEVA Logistics will continue managing logistics operations for Orange Polska until July 2031 after the companies extended a partnership that began in 2008. The agreement covers Orange’s main distribution centre in Ołtarzew as well as seven regional warehouses supporting its telecommunications operations across Poland.
The principal distribution facility covers 12,700 sqm and employs around 140 people. From the Ołtarzew site, CEVA handles equipment including mobile phones, routers, set-top boxes and accessories destined for both business and consumer channels. The wider regional network also helps maintain the availability of equipment required for the operation and expansion of Orange’s telecommunications infrastructure.
CEVA’s responsibilities extend beyond conventional storage and distribution. The logistics provider carries out quality inspections, refurbishes returned equipment, performs software updates and manages reverse logistics. These activities allow devices returning from customers or other parts of the network to be assessed and, where appropriate, prepared for further use.
The operation has also become increasingly automated. CEVA has introduced semi-automated processes and buffer systems, together with a conveyor-based line for processing returned equipment. Digital monitoring tools have been added to provide greater visibility over warehouse activity, while the logistics operation has been adapted to support equipment associated with the development of Orange’s 5G network.
The contract extension provides Orange Polska with continuity across a logistics network that has been operated by CEVA for almost two decades. For CEVA, it secures responsibility for the 12,700 sqm Ołtarzew operation and seven regional warehouses for almost another five years, although the companies have not disclosed the financial value of the renewed agreement.

The agreement reflects the changing role of logistics facilities serving the telecommunications sector, where warehouse operations increasingly incorporate equipment servicing, returns management, automation and digital monitoring alongside distribution. For Orange Polska, the extended partnership maintains an established logistics platform supporting both customer deliveries and the physical infrastructure required for the continued development of its network.
