The Andreas Schmid Group has signed a long-term lease for approximately 6,800 sq m of warehouse and office space in Olching, northwest of Munich. The transaction was brokered by integrated logistics real estate consultancy Logivest. The property at Gewerbering 14–16 is owned by a company managed by AEW.
The Andreas Schmid Group, which specialises in beverage logistics, secured the lease after winning a tender to manage logistics for a Munich-based brewery and subsequently seeking suitable premises in the western part of the metropolitan area. According to Logivest, the location offers direct access to the A471 federal road and links to the A8 motorway.
Alexander Dempfle, Consultant Industrial and Logistics Letting at Logivest in Munich, said the Olching submarket remains attractive due to its proximity to the A8 corridor and surrounding residential districts, adding that demand in the Munich logistics market has recently shown signs of recovery and gradual stabilisation.
The building holds a DGNB Gold sustainability certification and is equipped with a rooftop photovoltaic system and LED lighting throughout the approximately 6,000 sq m warehouse area. The logistics facilities include multiple loading ramps, a ground-level gate and a large manoeuvring yard. Modern office and staff areas account for more than 800 sq m of the total leased space.
The premises were occupied in January 2026.
