Brothers Dragoș and Adrian Pavăl, owners of DIY retailer Dedeman, are preparing to buy part of the former industrial platform of heating boiler manufacturer ICMA, next to the Dedeman Pantelimon store, after also buying the adjacent former Andami industrial platform two years ago.
Businessman Mircea Popa, the general manager and majority shareholder of ICMA, is set to approve the signing of a sale-purchase agreement with Dedeman for 5 plots of land with a total area of 11,437 square meters, part of the former industrial platform on Industriilor Street 3-5, in Sector 3.
In 2024, the Pavăl brothers also bought the former Andami industrial platform from the Turkish Eskiocak family. The two industrial platforms Andami and ICMA are adjacent to the Dedeman Pantelimon store, inaugurated in 2018 following an investment of approximately EUR 15 million. The targeted acquisition would bring Dedeman an additional land of over 3.1 hectares for future real estate developments.
