Pavăl Holding, the investment vehicle of the Pavăl family, which controls the DIY retailer Dedeman, has taken over 100% of the shares of CNE Retail SRL in exchange for approximately EUR 3 million. This company owns a plot of land in Cluj Napoca, near Floreşti, and a series of unused buildings, the new shareholders’ plan being to develop a new project here.
There is also a Carrefour hypermarket on this plot of land, a business recently purchased by the Pavăl family.
The seller in this transaction is, indirectly, the entrepreneur Dorin Bob, through the company Studium Green SRL. The Bob family owns multiple businesses including the canned vegetable producer Arovit, as well as several hazelnut orchards, in addition to investments in real estate.
