CPI Romania marks a new stage in the development of Sun Plaza, by attracting famous international brands such as Primark, Peek&Cloppenburg, and Reserved.
These new openings are part of an extensive process to modernize and reposition the commercial center, aimed at transforming Sun Plaza into a complete urban destination where shopping, gastronomy, services, and leisure work together to meet consumers’ new expectations.
Recently, CPI Property Group obtained a club-deal-type financing of EUR 100 million, granted by OTP Bank and ING Bank Romania, for the largest commercial center in CPI Romania’s retail portfolio.

The Primark store in Bucharest will span approximately 3,000 sqm, while Peek&Cloppenburg is expanding its collaboration with CPI Romania with a new 3,200 sqm store, following its existing locations at VIVO! Constanța and VIVO! Cluj-Napoca. Reserved will also join the new fashion offering, with a store spanning approximately 2,200 sqm across two levels.
The new configuration will be completed by a next-generation Auchan hypermarket, with a surface area of approximately 7,000 sqm, estimated to open by the end of the year. Sun Plaza presently hosts 170 stores.
