Olympus Foods Romania, one of the largest dairy producers in the region, is starting the construction of a new hall with an area of 7,100 square meters within the premises of the Brașov Milk Factory. The objective of the new investment, worth EUR 7.5 million, is to expand the production and storage capacities of the factory.
The investment comes a little over a year after the inauguration of the logistics center worth over 40 million euros, a project with a total area of 13,500 square meters and a high-bay refrigerated warehouse where over 32,000 pallets of products are stored.
“The new investment continues the sustainable development of the Brașov Dairy Factory, significantly increasing our production and supply capacities for Olympus dairy products. It is a natural evolution, which aims to respond to the rising demand for quality foods, as the Olympus brand expands into more and more European countries,” says Dimitrios Kelas, General Manager of Olympus Foods Romania.
