Cement producer Romcim takes over Wopfinger

Romcim, the cement producer owned by the Irish from CRH, has taken over the concrete producer Wopfinger, which operates six stations in Cluj-Napoca, Braşov, Constanţa and Bucharest.

The integration of Wopfinger is part of the group’s strategy to strengthen its local presence and support major infrastructure projects, industrial and non-residential construction, but also the residential segment, say Romcim representatives.
