Lithuanian hotel operator Apex Alliance Hotel Management has put up for sale the Courtyard by Marriott Bucharest Floreasca hotel, a four-star unit with 259 rooms located on Dimitrie Pompeiu Boulevard in northern Bucharest, through JLL consultants. The Courtyard by Marriott Floreasca hotel could be valued at between EUR 38 and 48 million, equivalent to EUR 150,000–185,000 per room.
The move comes about a year after Apex Alliance sold the Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest Airport hotel, the 218-room unit inside Henri Coanda Airport, to real estate group Yellow Tree.
The buyer is given the option to take over the asset either with a long-term lease or with a hotel management agreement (HMA) with the current operator, as was the case with the Otopeni hotel.
Courtyard by Marriott Bucharest Floreasca opened in October 2019, after an investment of EUR 22.5 million.
